Meet the Team
Steve Ulasewicz
CEOTees for Treatment was founded out of Steve’s personal journey through substance use disorder and the life-changing impact recovery has had on his life. Now 13 years sober, Steve set out to build something that gives back, creates connection, and offers hope to others on their own path to healing. When he found golf, it quickly became another meaningful part of his life—teaching him patience, discipline, and the value of showing up one day at a time. Tees for Treatment brings together Steve’s passion for recovery and his love for golf with a deeper sense of purpose.
Connie Ulasewicz
Chief Governance OfficerConnie brings her belief that community-engaged systems foster connections and resilience. Her work in education, as a college professor, is rooted in service learning, an approach that engages students in addressing community needs to enhance their civic responsibility and critical thinking. She grew up with a father who golfed and sponsored family tournaments to encourage family connections and support. As a small business owner, she builds community by engaging with others to share and understand their clothing and textile practices.
Chris Peterson
CFOChris brings a lifelong passion for sports to Tees for Treatment, along with a strong appreciation for the values they can teach—discipline, perseverance, and connection. As the step-son of a Brooklyn Dodgers great, Chris carries forward a legacy rooted not only in athletic excellence, but also in service to others. His step-father cared deeply about the community and had a love for the game of golf, qualities that continue to influence Chris today. Through that example, Chris understands the power of sports to bring people together and create meaningful opportunities to give back to those struggling.
